Instead of your shame there shall be a DOUBLE portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a DOUBLE portion; they shall have everlasting joy. (Isa 61:7 ESV) Emphasis mine.
And the Lord restored Job's losses…Indeed the Lord gave Job TWICE as much as he had before. (Job 42:10 NKJV)
Abba-Father, YHWH our Elohim, tests His children for several reasons: to humble us; to teach us; to know what’s in our hearts, and, to reveal to US what’s in our hearts; and to see if we will keep His Word or not while we endure this season. (Deut 8:2) And He compensates our perseverance during these tests—our determined persistence in pressing through them with His Word—with DOUBLE FOR OUR TROUBLE!
O Abba-YHWH, I believe; help my unbelief! Cause my thoughts and mouth to agree with no other word BUT YOURS, for a man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is! Attend to my cry, Father, give ear to my prayer…You have tested my heart…I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress Your Word. By the Word of Your lips, I have kept away from the snares of the destroyer. Uphold my steps in Your paths, Father, that my foot may not slip. Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O YHWH, who saves those who trust in You. In the Name and by the Blood of Yeshua Ha’ Mashiach, Messiah Jesus of Nazareth.
