Jesus said, Truly I tell you, there is no one who has given up and left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for My sake and for the Gospel's who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time--houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, WITH PERSECUTIONS--and in the age to come, eternal life.   (Mark 10:29,30  AMP)  Emphasis mine.

Promotion and increase come to those devoted to living for Messiah, both “now in this time” and “in the age to come”.  That means it will be required at times to give up some things (family, friends, homes, jobs, land, or whatever else the devil might use to steer, distract or hinder us in any way from fulfilling our YHWH-ordained destinies) that don’t line up with our Father’s perfect will and plan for our lives.  However, just as this Scripture reveals the Almighty’s unfailing promise to multiply back to our lives everything we’ve “given up” for His sake, it forewarns that all these rewards come “WITH PERSECUTIONS”, as well. 

So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, PERSECUTIONS,  perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength).   (2 Cor 12:10  AMP) Emphasis mine.

Persecutions…I endured, but out of them ALL the Lord delivered me.    (2 Tim 3:11  AMP) Emphasis mine.
