I haven't always understood what the bible shares about "The truth will set us free". Today it is ever more tangible in my daily living as I dig in and research the many things that the main stream media tries to cram into our thoughts. The truth is a fact finding mission. It is not merely a lazy acceptance of what someone tells me, especially in the main stream media. I no longer sit idle and allow the diatribe given without doing the research. I realize that it takes work on my part to be set free from the lies of this world. I must take an active part in setting myself free from one lie after another. Yes Jesus came to set us free. He showed us the way. He flipped the tables. He did not simply take things as they were given. He questioned and he sought after the heart of living, loving and thriving in my opinion. His life depicted the search, the traveling's from one place unto another seeking the truth over the lies. He was our first sign to wake up. To stand up. To fight for ourselves. The truth can always be checked and then accepted and this is where the truth sets us free. It also sets us apart. I hope the truth is a fact finding mission for you. The lives we live can set us apart and as we are fact finding our way to truth we can take others with us. The light of truth. Is for all of us.
