Clean water is vital to life. Since the wreck in Ohio a substance called Poly vinyl Chloride is in the water. PVC pipes are made from Poly vinyl chloride. In water in larger concentrations is unacceptable and Poly vinyl chloride is a carcinogen. Other disasters may occur and water can become contaminated. A simple water pitcher filter like zero water or brita can not get rid of Poly vinyl Chloride only a process of reverse osmosis can remove it from water.
